Amy Amatya
Amy Amatya is a violinist, composer, and producer from Los Angeles. She does session work, live performances, remote string arrangements, media scoring, and has multiple personal projects.
By age 17, she had already performed with symphonies like the NAfME All-National Orchestra; played venues like the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Peacock Theater, and Grand Ole Opry; won local solo competitions; toured abroad with chamber ensembles; gigged around LA; and performed with Lindsey Stirling and Weird Al.

She is a self-taught classical guitarist with a distinctly eerie playing style. She is also a proficient piano player, having started lessons at age three.
During solo shows, she loops classical guitar and violin.
She writes dark cinematic folk under under her solo project, Kaigara, and releases instrumental music as Amy Amatya.
She holds a bachelors degree in climate science from Princeton University.
